FoodNerd proudly holds the Clean Label Project's First 1,000 Day Promise and Purity Award certifications, setting new standards in the US food industry.

The First 1,000 Day Promise is the Clean Label Project’s highest standard for or products intended for pregnant women, infants, and young children. This certification applies the European baby food regulations as the standard for stricter contaminant limits and additional safety requirements. The Purity Award is the Clean Label Project’s certification for products that neet a higher standard for hidden contaminants. Products are independently tested for substances like heavy metals, pesticides, and plasticizers.

Broccoli contains a plant compound called sulforaphane that helps support the body’s natural protective systems as kids grow. FoodNerd includes broccoli sprouts in our seed blend to provide a reliable source of this compound in every serving. By measuring these compounds, we better understand how their benefits may carry through into foods made for growing bodies.
